Tyskspråklig retningslinje for trans og kjønns-normbrytende barn og unge

2025 utga de tyskspråklige landene i Europa svært omfattende retningslinjer som går i dybden på viktige tema rundt vurdering og behandling av personer med kjønnsinkongruens under 18 år.

De kan sies å utgjøre det mest oppdaterte og omfattende retningslinjedokumentet for denne målgruppen innenfor medisinen.

Retningslinjen er godkjent og utgitt av AWMF Leitlinienregister. AWMF (German Association of Scientific Medical Societies) har klare kriterier for utarbeiding av medisinske retningslinjer, som er fulgt. Retningslinjene går i dybden på hvordan man kan vurdere og behandle barn og unge kjønnsinkongruens over 273 sider med tekst og + 46 sider med referanser.

I hovedtrekk er teksten på linje med retningslinjene, de såkalte SOC-8 (Standards of Care, version 8, 2022), utgitt av World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) i 2022. Men fordi dette er en tekst som går i dybden på ett av mange tema som behandles i SOC-8, er det det mest omfattende og oppdaterte dokumentet vi har når det gjelder oppfølging og støtte for personer under 18 år med kjønnsinkongruens.
