THE OSLO TRANS HEALTH CONFERENCE 9.-10. OKTOBER 2025
For all trans, non-binary and gender diverse people, professionals, family and allies
Welcome
Welcome to the Oslo Trans Health Conference 2025!
October 9–10, 2025 | Oslo, Norway
We are proud to welcome you to the Oslo Trans Health Conference 2025, a two-day international gathering focused on advancing research based and community-informed trans-affirming approaches to health.
This conference centers the social, structural, and political dimensions of trans and gender diverse health — moving beyond pathologizing models and toward practices that affirm autonomy, dignity, and lived experience.
We bring together researchers, clinicians and community members to reflect critically on care systems, knowledge production, and policy in the Nordic region as well as internationally. Our guests will present well researched perspectives from social sciences, ethics, and human rights as well as medicine. The conference will provide a space for nuanced discussion of how trans and gender diverse health is shaped — and reshaped — by medical frameworks, legal systems, and cultural narratives.
Join us for engaging talks, critical conversations, and collective imagining of more inclusive futures.
🗓️ Day 1: History of trans medicine, sterilization, legal and ethical perspectives on care, policy, and trans lives, social and intersectional approaches.
🗓️ Day 2: Approaches to gender affirming care and medical support ranging from endocrinology, ethics and obstetrics.
